It's summer down in Mexico (I'm pretty sure), so this is completely in season. But all it's doing is making my heart ache for warmer air and the opportunity to wear my fabulous summer wardrobe.

PRE-FALL 2013 - Valentino
Dear God, Valentino. There have been few brands that make me want to cry tears of happiness with every collection they put, and one of them is Valentino. (The others are Oscar De La Renta, and Givenchy but that's beside the point) The leather bad-ass Catholic school-girl Madonna/Britney Spears vibe, mixed in with matron-chic prints and cuts make such a fabulous, absolutely Valentino collection that I just want to die from the perfection. All lessers, bow and take notes, simultaneously.

PRE-FALL 2013 - Givenchy! (my love)
Riccardo Tisci, I love you. Time and time again, you have proved yourself both skilled enough to handle a brand such as Givenchy, and savvy enough to consistently deliver an effortlessly cool collection. Who else would be awesome enough to ditch this season's flower prints and plaid for cow prints and a monochrome kaleidoscope collection of triangles? He even went so far as to ignore the trendy, albeit massive, wedge for a girly yet androgynous oxford that I would KILL to own (please someone tell me they come in men's sizes).
